Three of the five are climate-facing — water-logging tolerance in castor,
climate-resilient ericulture in Gujarat, and (alongside the continuing kesseru nitrogen-use
work) a visible reorientation of the programme from productivity alone towards resilience.
A fourth, MOE 05041, is the institute’s first project to treat gender dynamics as a
research variable rather than a reporting category.
