केन्द्रीय मूगा एरी अनुसंधान एवं प्रशिक्षण संस्थान Central Muga Eri Research & Training Institute Lahdoigarh – 785 700, Jorhat, Assam

RSRS, Begusarai

The institute’s newest research station and its only one outside the North East. Bihar is a non-traditional state for ericulture, and this station exists to test whether eri culture transfers to the castor-growing belt of the Gangetic plain — a different climate, different cropping calendar and a farming community with no sericultural tradition to build on.
